This is a beautiful custom made Laminated long grain Purple-heart & NC Grown Cherry cutting board 9" wide x 11-7/8" long x just under 1" thick. Board was constructed of 16 individual strips of wood. each piece was sanding & joined in food safe glue. This board is made to last a lifetime with proper care. All edges have been rounded over & all sides sanded to 400 grit & then soaked & finished in butcher block finish. The purple-heart wood will get darker & deeper purple as it ages- natural sunlight will speed up that process. I attached the pictures of the assembly of the board.
